I am a sound artist, composer and musician. I live and work in Montreal, Canada. I am a member of artist collective the CRUM (Centre de recherche urbaine de Montréal) and experimental music group interceiving. My particular interests include audio feedback, field recordings, semantic mashups of voice recordings, musical improvisation and piano music.
In my past life as a tv audio technician, the adrenaline of mixing for live television made me view the audio console as a real-time performative device. Parallel to that, my exposure to experimental music led me to channel those sound engineering skills into music production, resulting in an experimental approach to music based in technical curiosity. I’m fuelled by the momentum of new concoctions, the use of new instruments and the discovery of previously unused raw sonic material for music and sound art.
